Marketing Your Site Offline
- Add your URL to all your correspondence and collateral.
- Add your URL to any outgoing message if you have a business line.
- If you will be featured in any publication or media segment, be sure the publication or segment mentions your URL.
- Add your website address to the text of any press release. For example, on a press release announcing a new publication, add a paragraph that says "This new publication can be accessed via our Web site at.....
- Make sure the look of your website is consistent with the look of your website
- Use an email address that has your domain in it, such as name@yourdomain.com as opposed to an AOL, Yahoo or Hotmail address.
- Send postcards announcing the launch of your site, or the launch of your updated site
